Burnify ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it. By using Burnify, you agree to this policy.

Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the app's features:

• Account data — email address and display name when you create an account.
• Health & fitness data — calories consumed, calories burned, food logs, exercise logs, and hydration logs that you manually enter.
• Usage data — anonymous analytics about how features are used, to improve the app. No personal identifiers attached.
• Device data — iOS version and device model for crash reporting and compatibility purposes.
• Purchase data — subscription status verified through Apple's StoreKit. We do not see or store your payment details.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and personalize the app experience.
• To sync your data across your devices.
• To verify your subscription status.
• To send you reminders you have explicitly set up in the app.
• To diagnose crashes and fix bugs.

We do not use your health or fitness data for advertising purposes.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We use Firebase (Google) as our backend infrastructure, which is SOC 2 compliant.

Health and fitness data you enter is stored on our secure servers and optionally on your device. You can delete all data at any time from within the app.

Third-Party Services

Burnify uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Apple StoreKit — subscription and payment processing.
• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, and crash reporting.

Children's Privacy

Burnify is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Export your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account inside the app, or contact us at support@burnify.app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or by email. Continued use of Burnify after changes means you accept the updated policy.
